Venom: Let There Be Carnage is an upcoming American Superhero film based on one of Marvel’s greatest most complicated characters, ‘Venom’. It is a science fiction Action movie and is considered the sequel to Venom (2018). The new Venom (2021) is coming to hit the big screen of theatres on October 1, 2021 in US & October 15, 2021 in UK. The film stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham and Woody Harrelson.

It is produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy and Hutch Parker and directed by Andy Serkis.

Andy Serkis is an English actor, producer, director & motion capture artist. He is one of the highest – grossing actors of all time. He has earned an Empire Award and two Saturn Awards for his motion-capture acting.

Release Date

According to reports, Sony Pictures has decided to delay the theatrical release of ‘Venom : Let There Be Carnage’ because

rising case of Covid – 19 in the US due to the highly contagious delta variant. We can call ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ as ‘Venom 2’. It was originally scheduled to release in October 2020, then the release date shifted to June 25, 2021 due to Covid-19 pandemic. Later, this date has also been delayed to September 24, 2021 for which fans were waiting. But because of the rising case of pandemic, it is again shifted to October 1, 2021 in US & October 15, 2021 in UK.

Storyline

Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom is the host of an alien Symbiote, Venom. Over a year after the events of Venom (2018), investigative journalist Eddie Brock struggles to adjust to life as the host of the alien, which grants him Superhuman abilities in order to be a lethal vigilante. Brock tries to reignite his career in journalism by interviewing a psychotic serial killer Cletus Kasady, played by Harrelson. Kasady becomes the host of an alien Symbiote similar to Venom, named Carnage. Ultimately it is the story about Eddie and Venom’s ongoing struggles.
