The central government has advised strict restrictions in 10 states in view of the spurt in COVID-19 cases. The Center, while reviewing the COVID-19 situation in 10 states, has advised strict restrictions to prevent crowding and mingling of people in districts with a positivity rate of more than 10%.
Once again a slight increase is being recorded in the daily cases of corona in the country. In the last 24 hours, 41,649 new cases of corona virus were reported in the country, after which the total number of cases has increased to 3,16,13,993. At present, corona infection is spreading again in 10 states of the country. In view of corona infection, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan today reviewed the status of corona in 10 states including Kerala. The Health Secretary has reviewed the Corona situation in Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Assam, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh and Manipur.
In the meeting, the steps taken by the state health officials to control the corona infection have also been reviewed. These are the 10 states where either daily cases of corona were increasing or the positivity rate is increasing. In the meeting, the strategy of Kovid control was discussed, in the review meeting, the central government has been asked to impose strict restrictions in the districts where the corona positivity rate is more than 10 percent for the last few weeks. In such districts, it has been advised to stop the gathering of people. The government said that if restrictions are not imposed in these districts, then the situation may get worse than before.
The central government said, 80% of the cases of corona coming out in these 10 states are coming from home isolation. There is a need in these states that strict steps should be taken, so that there is a ban on the gathering of people in the locality, colonies or neighborhood, the hospitalized patients get timely treatment.
